CRO Logistics Manager

Own the Solution—from Client Call to Final Delivery

Connexis Search Group has been retained by a growing diagnostic and clinical-services organization to find a CRO Logistics Manager who wants to do more than track shipments. You will help design, price, launch, and manage the logistics programs that move critical clinical specimens safely and on time.

This is a high-visibility individual-contributor role with direct exposure to Sales, Finance, clients, executive leadership, and courier partners. If you understand clinical-trial or specimen logistics and enjoy building practical solutions, this is an opportunity to make a measurable impact.

What You’ll Own

• Join client and Sales calls to uncover shipment volumes, routes, timing, temperature controls, packaging, and service requirements.
• Turn those requirements into a reliable logistics solution, including scope, assumptions, service levels, and pricing inputs.
• Partner with Sales and Finance to compare costs, build client pricing, and protect appropriate margins and markups.
• Source and select outsourced courier partners based on coverage, capability, compliance, cost, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Onboard couriers, manage the ongoing relationships, monitor performance, and resolve service failures.
• Oversee time-critical movement of biological specimens and clinical materials, including tracking, chain of custody, cold-chain needs, delivery confirmation, and exception management.

You Could Be a Strong Fit If You Have

• Direct experience in CRO logistics, clinical-trial logistics, specimen transportation, laboratory logistics, or medical courier operations.
• A strong understanding of biological specimen handling, time-critical shipments, chain of custody, and cold-chain requirements.
• Experience supporting client solutions, vendor quotations, logistics pricing, margin analysis, or courier selection.
• The confidence to participate in client conversations and the discipline to own urgent operational issues through resolution.
• Strong communication, commercial judgment, organization, and vendor-management skills.
