Youth Sports Director

About This Role

This job is for an outgoing, high-energy individual who loves seeing kids laugh, learn, and grow through sports. The Youth Sports Director connects with kids, parents, and teammates daily, leading or assisting with programs and helping to plan them. The role is ideal for someone who wants to make an impact while doing something they love.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with youth sports programs that keep kids smiling, moving, and growing
• Turn lessons into lasting memories using Skyhawks’ fun, easy-to-follow curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive environment where every kid feels seen and supported
• Communicate with parents and families, keeping them excited and engaged
• Bring the team together, helping to mentor other coaches, share ideas, and build camaraderie
• Keep programs organized and safe so everyone can focus on the fun

• Is reliable, adaptable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
• Enjoys leading, motivating, and inspiring others
• Must be 17 years of age or older

Nice to have:

• Some experience with coaching, teaching, or leading groups
• 1 year of Basketball experience
• 1 year of Volleyball experience
• 1 year of Pickleball experience
• Driver's license and a vehicle
• Availability during weekdays in afterschool hours between 3-7pm
