Yoga Instructor

About This Role

This part-time role involves leading group yoga classes for a community that includes indoor cyclists seeking mobility, recovery, and balance, as well as new studio members. The instructor will help build the yoga program from the ground up, planning classes that cater to all levels and complement indoor cycling.

Responsibilities

• Teach group yoga classes for all levels, with clear cues and options for every body in the room
• Plan class sequences that complement indoor cycling: hip, hamstring, lower back, and recovery work
• Coach breath, alignment, and safe movement to prevent injury
• Keep an eye on every participant and respond quickly if someone needs help
• Create a welcoming room so new members want to come back
• Help shape our yoga program as it grows, including class formats and schedule

Requirements

• 200-hour RYT certification or equivalent
• Experience teaching group classes in a studio or gym setting
• Solid working knowledge of anatomy and alignment
• Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to get certified before your start date)
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with a set weekly schedule

Nice to have:

• Experience with restorative, yin, or recovery-focused yoga, or teaching athletes
