About the role
Role Overview Seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to perform diagnostic imaging, including body mechanics and patient movement, using anatomical knowledge. Responsibilities include operating equipment, developing films, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with Medical Assistant duties.
Key Duties
- Greeting and communicating with patients, providing treatment process guidance
- Addressing patient concerns and managing emergent situations
- Assisting with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision
- Obtaining and documenting vital signs, medical history, and other pertinent information
- Performing radiology procedures, ensuring quality control, and maintaining equipment
- Following safety protocols, radiation protection, and documentation procedures
- Maintaining licensure and improving radiology skills
Qualifications And Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- TN State X-Ray License
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Medical Assistant experience is a plus
