Role Description
The Writer will work full time on-site in Salvador, BA, producing clear and engaging written materials that support the firm’s architectural and design projects. Day-to-day tasks include drafting project descriptions, client proposals, and reports, as well as refining content for presentations, marketing materials, and internal documentation. The role involves interviewing project stakeholders, organizing technical information into accessible language, and ensuring written materials reflect the firm’s brand and professional standards. The Writer will collaborate with architects, designers, and administrative staff to meet deadlines and maintain consistency across all written communications.

Qualifications

• Strong professional writing skills, with experience creating proposals, reports, and descriptive content for technical or design-focused fields.
• Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, concise, and accessible language for different audiences.
• Excellent command of grammar, style, and structure, with careful attention to detail and consistency in written documents.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and solid reading and writing skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Comfort working on-site with multidisciplinary teams, participating in meetings, and gathering information directly from project stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience or interest in architecture, urban planning, design, or related fields, and familiarity with basic architectural terminology is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Literature, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in writing-intensive roles.
