About the role
World Cup of Entrepreneurship
The World Entrepreneurship Cup is a program that fosters connections between entrepreneurs and key stakeholders, mentors, and national and international experts. It also offers investment opportunities, expands knowledge and skills, facilitates access to various support mechanisms, and promotes global networks. For the fifth consecutive year, the Government of El Salvador is the official national organizer of the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC). This event, led by the Ministry of Economy, invites all Salvadoran entrepreneurs to start, develop, and scale their businesses.
The national phase will be carried out in coordination with over 100 strategic partners in the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, through various coordinated actions to support participants. These will include training sessions, workshops, and seminars that will enable entrepreneurs to strengthen their applications and increase their chances of competing internationally. Additionally, various activities will be developed to connect entrepreneurs with national and international stakeholders in the ecosystem, as well as with diverse support mechanisms.
Ventures from any sector can participate, whether at the idea stage or in operation for less than 10 years.
The program offers the opportunity to present projects on a global stage for a share of USD $1 million in prizes plus investment opportunities and additional support with world-class mentors.
