Workday Core HCM Job Description
Job Title: Workday Core HCM Consultant / Workday HCM Functional Consultant
Job Summary:
- Responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Core HCM solutions.
- Collaborate with HR, business stakeholders, and technical teams to optimize HR processes, improve employee experience, and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM modules.
- Configure organizations, staffing models, supervisory organizations, and locations.
- Manage employee lifecycle events such as hiring, transfers, promotions, terminations, and organizational changes.
- Configure and maintain business processes (BPs).
- Configure and troubleshoot Workday security groups and role-based security.
- Support Workday integrations and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) data loads.
- Build and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
- Perform data validation, audits, and system testing.
- Support Workday releases by analyzing new features and conducting regression testing.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
- Provide production support and resolve system issues.
- Prepare documentation, user guides, and deliver end-user training.
- Ensure HR data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.
