About this job:

Support campus facilities and maintenance operations by assisting technicians and engineers with routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and basic repair tasks. The work-study employee helps ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently while gaining hands-on experience, maintaining accurate records, following safety procedures, and supporting inventory and work order needs.

What You'll Do:

•    Under general direction, works closely under the direction of current PM Technician, Building engineer, Pest management technicians positions
•    Changing filters on HVAC equipment. Maintain spreadsheet documentation
•    Check domestic hot water boilers for proper operation
•    Lubricate bearings, verify proper operation of exhaust fans
•    Checking and replacing belts as needed
•    Testing EPO gas flows
•    Prepares and cleans up the job site, taking into consideration safety concerns of self and others, and disposes of waste and flammable materials
•    Performs inventory control of supplies, determines products and supplies needed for work order
•    Replace water fountain filters
•    Perform other duties, as assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED minimum required.

  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
