In this job in Land Acquisitions, you will support high volume, complex and compliance of work associated with managing Capital (LCAP) and Non-Capital (LCOR) work orders, managing the financial accountability of purchase orders and invoice processing. The role is essential to ensuring financial accuracy, SOX compliance, and timely processing of work that supports projects and initiatives that help shape SCE’s work in Transmission and Distribution supporting programs and initiatives such as Targeted Underground.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with creating key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess work performance and productivity; collects and supports the analysis of data on work progress, resource utilization, and project outcomes.
  • Assists in preparation of reports, dashboards, or presentations to stakeholders and management.
  • Assists in assessing work processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization; streamlines processes, eliminates bottlenecks, and implements best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity; may leverage automation tools or workflow management systems to streamline and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Supports the identification and management of low-risk work activities; assesses potential risks, develops risk mitigation strategies, and establishes contingency plans to minimize the impact of risks on work progress and project outcomes.
  • Monitors and addresses any emerging risks or issues that may affect the successful completion of work.
  • Helps anticipate changes that impact work activities; assists in developing basic risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans; monitors and addresses any emerging risks or issues.
  • Assists in gathering feedback and lessons learned from project activities.
  • Supports the implementation of process enhancements to improve work performance and productivity; identify basic opportunities for skill development or training.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years of experience in work management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge with work order management for both LCAP and LCOR work orders and SOX compliance requirements
  • Experience with Purchase Orders processing, maintenance, and management
  • Ability to adapt to competing priorities while maintaining accuracy
  • Experience crafting and maintaining records, logs, documents, files, or databases for use in monitoring, tracking, and trending program/project costs, budget and production variance, resources, schedules, and status for management with attention to detail.
  • Experience reviewing, updating, and preparing reports, documents, or correspondence for internal and external customers to provide project updates and status with attention to detail.
  • Experience performing risk analysis, capturing documents, and researching data on assigned topics, using databases, files, spreadsheets, or other sources.
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects/assignments concurrently with minimal oversight under tight timelines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and SAP.
  • Ability to integrate work across relevant areas, manage information, and provide outstanding service to internal and external customers.

Additional Information

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
