About This Role
This role is for a skilled WordPress Developer with WooCommerce experience to join the team. The ideal candidate will develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and eCommerce stores.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements
- Develop and manage WooCommerce-based eCommerce websites
- Integrate payment gateways and third-party services
- Customize WooCommerce functionality, product pages, and checkout processes
- Ensure websites are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain existing websites
- Collaborate with the design and development teams to deliver high-quality projects
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of WordPress development
- Hands-on experience with WooCommerce
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin customization
- Knowledge of WooCommerce product management, checkout customization, and payment gateway integration
- Understanding of responsive web design, website security, and performance optimization
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to have:
- Experience developing custom WordPress plugins and themes
- Familiarity with WordPress hooks, filters, and REST APIs
- Knowledge of MySQL and website migration
- Experience optimizing website speed and SEO performance
