About This Role
This role involves working outdoors to provide wildlife exclusion and animal removal services to customers. It suits a hard worker who enjoys solving unique challenges, climbing ladders, and interacting with the community, with comprehensive training provided for those without prior experience.
Responsibilities
- Build strong connections with internal and external customers, creating “Customers for Life”
- Provide wildlife exclusion services and animal removal at customer locations
- Set up exclusion traps, cut flashing, and form hardware cloth to specifications
- Work safely on rooftops and use a safety harness when needed
- Perform basic repairs in areas damaged by animals using tools, sheet metal, and screening
- Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding wildlife exclusion and removal
- Follow a service schedule within your assigned territory, ensuring safe and timely visits
- Educate customers on wildlife services, and work to meet or exceed monthly sales goals
- Partner with internal teams such as customer service, sales, and management to deliver exceptional customer service
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, including handling company equipment and vehicles
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- No prior experience necessary
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
- Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle for extended periods
- Able to lift and move ladders larger than 32 feet, and climb 60 feet
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
