About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to complete assigned delivery routes within a 150 air mile radius.
- Deliver tires and related products to wholesale customers and Southern Tire Mart locations.
- Ensure the safe handling and transportation of all products.
- Accurately complete and maintain delivery paperwork, logs, and related documentation.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service during all deliveries, representing the company professionally.
- Assist with loading/unloading tires and maintaining delivery accuracy.
- Support warehouse operations as needed when not on delivery routes.
Skills / Education / Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; CDL preferred but not required.
- Prior delivery or driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift/move tires weighing 30–150 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
