About the role
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Outbound Cold Calling Appointment Setter (Home Services) to support a US-based home insulation company. Your primary responsibility will be to make outbound cold calls to homeowners within the company's local service area and book qualified in-home appointments for the sales team. You will not be responsible for closing sales — once an appointment is booked, the company's internal sales representatives will visit the customer and handle the sales process.
This is a high-volume, straightforward appointment-setting role with calls typically lasting around 1.5–2 minutes.
Schedule
- Fixed schedule, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Mountain Time, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Make high-volume outbound cold calls to prospective homeowners.
- Follow a provided cold-calling script.
- Engage prospects professionally and confidently.
- Generate interest in the company's home insulation services.
- Book qualified in-home appointments for the sales team.
- Accurately record appointments and call outcomes.
- Work within the company's dialer and systems.
- Meet agreed daily and weekly appointment-setting targets.
- Maintain consistent attendance and productivity throughout scheduled working hours.
Requirements
- Previous cold caller, telesales, or appointment-setting experience.
- Excellent verbal English skills with clear articulation for professional communication.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Confident handling objections and keeping conversations focused.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and able to work independently from home.
- Comfortable working US Mountain Time hours.
- Experience using VICIdial or similar outbound dialers is highly advantageous.
- Experience cold calling for home services, construction, insulation, roofing, HVAC, solar, or similar industries is advantageous.
