About This Role

Responsibilities
- Monitor staff time off requests, sick days, and vacation schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Fill open shifts by contacting available staff or utilizing on-call personnel
- Communicate schedule updates to staff clearly and promptly through various channels
- Address staffing concerns from staff and residents, working to resolve issues effectively
- Maintain open communication with the nursing team and facility management regarding staffing needs
- Ensure the implementation of care plans, including medication management and assistance with activities of daily living
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare providers to address any concerns or changes in care needs
- Supervise and support care staff to maintain a high standard of resident care
- Foster a positive and supportive living environment for residents
- Participate in staff training and development programs
Requirements
- MED TECH CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
- Experience in assisted living, senior care, or a similar healthcare setting
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of regulations and standards related to assisted living
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
