About This Role
This role is for a Wellness Coordinator to join the Resident Experiences team at Laurel Parc, a senior living community. The coordinator will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring wellness programs, initiatives, and the wellness center to ensure residents have the highest quality of physical and social well-being.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, supervise and facilitate daily wellness activities for residents to provide a positive overall experience
- Help to ensure each wellness initiative is prepared beforehand according to the time scheduled
- Have knowledge of proper use of equipment, possess ability to answer questions in regards to wellness, and refer issues to necessary individual(s) at Laurel Parc
- Check-in with residents regarding nutrition, health, social and fitness concerns
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years working with senior population with 6 months related wellness experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior supervisor and swimming/pool fitness experience
- Basic ability to use computer/smartphone applications for training and company system purposes
- Ability to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management
