Supporting adults with serious mental illness on their recovery journey is the core of this role, helping them build meaningful lives, strengthen independence, and achieve personal goals in a supportive residential setting. The Wellness Coach creates a safe, recovery-focused environment, builds positive relationships with residents, and empowers them to thrive in their communities.
Responsibilities
- Foster a supportive, recovery-oriented environment that promotes growth and independence
- Build trusting relationships with residents while maintaining professional boundaries
- Provide encouragement, coaching, and emotional support aligned with individual recovery goals
- Assist residents with developing and maintaining skills that support daily living and community participation
- Support individualized recovery plans and help residents achieve personal goals
- Encourage self-advocacy, empowerment, and active participation in the recovery process
- Collaborate with residents, families, treatment providers, and team members to coordinate supports and services
- Promote physical, mental, and emotional wellness through person-centered care
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services-related field
- Valid driver's license
- Commitment to recovery-oriented and person-centered care

- Experience supporting individuals with behavioral health or mental health needs
