About Mitchell Holistic Health
Mitchell Holistic Health is a fast-growing, faith-based wellness clinic founded in 2021 with a mission to help people take back their health by addressing the root causes of their concerns.
We offer pelvic floor therapy, physical therapy, functional medicine, and wellness coaching. Our clinic is collaborative, mission-driven, and focused on empowering people to take back their health.
About the Role
Our Wellness Coach is an integral part of our Functional Medicine team. This is a hands-on coaching role focused on helping clients turn recommendations into sustainable action.
You'll coach clients through the real-life work of changing their health, which includes building better habits, navigating barriers, staying consistent, and following through when motivation wears off. You'll use motivational interviewing, accountability, education, and problem-solving to help clients make changes related to nutrition, supplements, stress, sleep, mindset, movement, and daily routines.
Our Functional Medicine practitioners develop and oversee each client's health plan. Your role is to coach the person through implementing it.
That means building trust while also being willing to ask hard questions, speak truth with compassion, redirect when needed, and help clients take ownership of their progress. We're looking for someone who can do more than educate or encourage—we need someone who knows how to coach people toward change.
This is a full-time position with approximately 25–30 hours per week of direct client coaching. Remaining time is built into the schedule for documentation, administrative responsibilities, and team meetings.
What You'll Do
You'll Be a Great Fit If You…
This role likely isn't a good fit if you're uncomfortable with direct conversations, struggle to hold people accountable, or prefer educating and encouraging clients without actively coaching them toward change.
Qualifications
You do not need to come in as an expert in functional or holistic health. We will teach you the clinic-specific concepts and systems needed for this role.
