Understanding and experience with AWS D1.1, ASME, API, and international customer specifications.

Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills in GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, SAW, and welding overlay.

Expertise in root cause analysis, and analytical skills.

Ability to interpret structural, vessel, and piping fabrication drawings.
-
Understanding of welding metallurgy for carbon steel, stainless steel, low alloy steels, copper, and nickel alloys.

Knowledge of basic NDT techniques.
-
Qualification and approval of welding procedures before fabrication begins.

Welder training and qualification prior to project commencement.
-
Correct welding consumables selection and trouble-free site performance.
-
Availability of welding consumables before fabrication starts with minimum inventory.

Low weld repair and rejection rates.

Established and implemented improved welding methodologies/automation techniques.
