WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Quality assurance and optimization of processes in the welding department
- Qualification of new welding processes
- Support for designs and the transition from prototypes to serial production
- Point of contact for technical questions / topics regarding the manufacturability of new developments, supplier selection, and international projects
- Creation of welding sequence and inspection plans
- Approval and release of welded components in production
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable field
- Certification as international welding engineer/European Welding Engineer
- Training in non-destructive testing (e.g., VT2, PT2 inspector according to ISO 9712) is desirable
- Initial professional experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of applicable welding standards and regulations
- Proficient user of MS Office
- Very good Romanian and English (C1) language skills both written and spoken
- Ability to apply logical and analytical thinking on a range of technical problems and make balanced decisions across technical and business parameters
- Desire to work in an interdisciplinary and agile team to drive innovative design solutions
- Good communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization
- Flexibility, independent and team-oriented work style
