About This Role
Working with various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, to fabricate and assemble high-quality products according to specifications is the core of this TIG welding job. You will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks, primarily using TIG welding techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding operations with precision and efficiency, ensuring the highest level of quality in welded assemblies
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements and specifications
- Set up welding equipment, including selecting appropriate tools, fixtures, and welding methods based on the project requirements
- Prepare workpieces by cleaning, grinding, and smoothing surfaces to ensure proper fit and alignment
- Safely operate and maintain welding equipment, including performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards, making necessary adjustments as required
- Collaborate with team members, including engineers, fabricators, and other welders, to discuss project requirements and resolve any issues or challenges
- Follow established safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring a safe and clean work environment at all times
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects
Requirements
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to bend, lift, and stand comfortably for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift 50lbs.-75lbs

Important Details
- Schedule: 1st shift 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday, with mandatory overtime
