About the role
You will be working on both structural and non-structural fabrication, depending on project requirements. Work may include structural steel frames, beams and supports, as well as handrails, brackets, stairs, platforms, and general metal fabrication.
The role involves using a range of welding processes, including:
- MIG welding – for structural steel and general fabrication work
- TIG welding – for precision work and lighter gauge materials
- Arc welding (Stick welding) – for structural and on-site applications
Work is mainly workshop-based, with occasional site installation when required. Monday to Friday, with overtime available.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with MIG, TIG and Arc welding
- Ability to fabricate from drawings
- Experience in structural and/or general fabrication
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and safety focused
- Relevant welding tickets (preferred but not essential)
