About This Role
Welding on various steel structures, tanks, pipelines, and non-standard equipment for cement and thermal power plants is the core of this role. The position suits a skilled welder who can read technical drawings and ensure high-quality welds.
Responsibilities
- Perform electric welding (SMAW), semi-automatic welding (MIG/MAG), or TIG welding on steel structures, tanks, technological pipelines, furnace shells, cyclones, hoppers, and non-standard equipment for cement and thermal power plants.
- Read and understand mechanical technical drawings, welding symbols, and technical instructions on the drawings.
- Prepare material surfaces before welding (grinding, beveling, drying welding rods according to the correct procedures).
- Inspect weld quality visually (VT) or coordinate with the quality control department for ultrasonic (UT) and penetrant (PT) testing to ensure compliance with strict project technical standards.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Specialized certificate.
- Welding skills from level 3/7 or equivalent and above.
- Preference for candidates with pressure/structural welding certificates (if available).
- Ability to work under pressure in the workshop and strictly adhere to safety regulations and fire prevention measures.
