About the role
Job Description Support management in maintaining inventory accuracy by performing routine cycle counts, verifying quantities, and recording findings.
Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 7:30pm
Starting at $20.50/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform blind cycle counts of inventory in specific locations using system generated reports of a specific inventory on any given day.
- Record and enter the results of blind counts into the system with accuracy.
- Conduct unscheduled cycle counts as directed by management after scheduled counts have been completed.
- Physically verify inventory for raw material, purchased parts, and in-process manufactured parts to ensure alignment with system quantities.
- File and maintain accurate records of all materials counted and scheduled reports.
- Use scales to weigh parts when necessary.
- Report any unusual mechanical or operating conditions to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain quality standards in accordance with company specifications.
- Maintain good housekeeping.
- Regular attendance is expected and required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain Rheem forklift license to operate a hand truck, order picker, and/or forklift.
- Ability to use scan guns to record inventory adjustments.
- Proficient use of office PC and systems, including Oracle, email, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with both internally and external persons.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain accuracy with detailed work.
- Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
