We have been serving the Southeast Georgia area for over 13 years now and are very passionate about serving our senior population.
Role Overview:
As a Weekend Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing essential in-home support to seniors and adults in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure our clients receive the compassionate care they deserve. Whether you work on-site in Brunswick, Georgia, you’ll have the flexibility to make a positive impact in the lives of those you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Administer medication reminders to clients as needed.
- Support light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Transport clients to appointments or activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Experience in caregiving or providing support to individuals with varying needs.
- Strong communication skills in English to engage with clients and their families.
- Compassionate and patient attitude towards seniors and individuals in need.
- Ability to facilitate activities that promote independence and dignity for clients.
- Flexible availability specifically for weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
Bonus If You:
- Have certifications in caregiving or any relevant health fields.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for transportation.
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Part-Time position available on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
Location:
This position is on-site only in Brunswick, Georgia.
