Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily food preparation, serving, and cashiering activities to ensure smooth operations during the day shift
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, engaging with guests, and upselling menu items to enhance sales performance
- Oversee food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols to maintain compliance with health regulations and company standards
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation
- Assist with food prep tasks, including assembling orders, maintaining cleanliness of workstations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Conduct regular inventory checks, monitor food quality, and ensure proper food storage practices are followed
- Support team members through training on food service procedures, POS operation, and customer interaction techniques
Requirements
- Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with knowledge of food preparation and service best practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering and cash handling preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
- Proven ability to upsell menu items and contribute to sales goals through effective customer engagement
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience working in a café or retail grocery environment is a plus but not required

Must be available Monday-Friday 9-5 & having some flexibility for a weekend day shift here & there is helpful but we are very flexible on hours and times. Must work a minimum of 3 shifts a week.
