About This Role
Coordinating destination weddings for a family-run company in Waikiki is the core of this role. You will handle client inquiries, process reservations, book vendors, and ensure smooth wedding experiences, occasionally working on-site.
Responsibilities
- Answer and return a high volume of phone calls
- Respond to online and email inquiries for current and prospective clients
- Process reservations, input details into wedding files, book vendors, and monitor payment for weddings
- Go above and beyond for each client, using personal experience and ideas to make their wedding experience amazing
- Occasionally work on-site at a wedding as needed
- Be flexible in your schedule to ensure the office is staffed
- Keep the workspace clean and tidy on a daily basis
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills in all modes of communication
- Skilled at verbal and nonverbal communication with customers and coworkers
- Maintain professionalism and appropriate enthusiasm in all interactions
- Has strong time management and able to prioritize tasks
- Detail-oriented and a fast learner
- Able to work as a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and takes initiative
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Emotional intelligence and stress-management
- Have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- High school or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Previous work experience in Customer Service, Sales, Hospitality, or Event Planning or ability to demonstrate equivalent skillset

- Experience with using Quickbooks, Google Calendar, Google Mail, and Aircall
