About This Role
Coordinating weddings and events for clients is the main focus of this role, which also involves networking with other vendors in the industry. This position suits a highly organized and determined individual with excellent time management, problem-solving, and people skills, who is looking for flexibility and a joyful work environment.
Responsibilities
- Be the face of Complete Weddings + Events
- Coordinate weddings and events
- Network with other vendors to gain industry knowledge
- Be the point person for specific weddings and within the company
- Work with team members including DJs, photobooth operators, photographers, and videographers
- Meet with clients multiple times before the wedding
- Be available for client communication via text, email, and phone until closer to the wedding day
- Attend wedding rehearsals
- Be fully available on the day of the wedding to assist with set up, bridal party preparation, and the ceremony
- Coordinate various vendors (DJ, caterer, photographer) during the reception
- Ensure the bride's day goes flawlessly
- Assist with marketing, outside vendor networking, and sales for additional job growth (optional)
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Reliable transportation
- At least 2 years of wedding and/or event coordinating experience
- Wedding coordination experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Nice to have:
- Certification with an event or wedding coordination organization (such as CWP or similar)
- Knowledge of Timeline Genius
