About This Role
Working with couples to plan their special day, the Wedding Coordinator handles wedding and social enquiries from initial contact to flawless execution. This role suits a detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational skills who can provide seamless communication throughout the planning process.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and establish and maintain relationships with all parties connected to the wedding or event
- Effectively coordinate all weddings and special events, and assist when necessary with any other events the hotel may host
- Conduct show rounds for weddings, ensuring correct information is given to the appropriate enquiry
- Make couples feel welcome and ensure they are engaged with the hotel's offerings
- Produce accurate planning documents, sharing these with appropriate parties and hotel teams
- Accurately produce contracts and billing information
- Handle any unexpected issues during the planning process or on the wedding day
- Work on the bar or serve tables, if required
Requirements
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to use own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive, can-do attitude
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional levels of guest service
- Happy to work weekends
- Communication skills, with the ability to build strong and effective working relationships with key stakeholders and create rapport with guests
- Highly motivated with a drive to succeed
- 2 years of Event Management experience (required)
- 2 years of Hospitality experience (required)
- United Kingdom work authorisation (required)
