Wedding and Events Coordinator

About This Role

Working as a Wedding and Events Coordinator, you will guide couples through planning their special day, ensuring excellence in event delivery and customer care. This role involves meticulous organization and proactive problem-solving to create memorable celebrations at a premium venue.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellence in customer care, responding to client emails in a timely fashion and overseeing their experience on the day
• Plan and create wedding event orders using meticulous organizational skills, ensuring communication with kitchen and operational teams
• Collaborate with colleagues, attending weekly events operations meetings and supporting continuous business improvement
• Take proactive ownership of invoicing for events, ensuring timely issuance and payment receipt as per schedule
• Seek out opportunities to provide added value services to couples, with a view to driving revenue
• Support marketing activity for the venue, including contributing content to social media channels and promotional activities like photo shoots, media visits, and VIP visits

Requirements

• Previous event planning and management related experience (ideally within Weddings)
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Good understanding of the hospitality and events industry
• Ability to work independently as well as part of the team
• Confident managing multiple events and tasks
• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
• Organisational skills: 1 year (required)
• Time management: 1 year (preferred)
• Events management: 3 years (required)
