Developing and maintaining web presences and digital customer journeys is the core of this role, working closely with project managers, creative directors, and clients. The Web Developer will design and code, manage new development, revisions, and maintenance, and collaborate with internal and external professionals to achieve project visions. This role suits a creative and technical problem solver who can translate abstract concepts into effective visual forms.
Responsibilities
Write well-designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices
Create website layout and user interface using standard HTML/CSS practices
Utilize AI-powered tools to assist with coding, debugging, documentation, and research while maintaining ownership of the quality and accuracy of all work produced
Stay informed on emerging artificial intelligence technologies and identify opportunities to improve workflows, productivity, and the user experience
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Occasionally travel to better understand the product or service by seeing it firsthand
Occasionally work on nights and/or weekends when necessary
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Create and maintain software documentation
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling client sites
Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Cooperate with graphic designers to match visual design intent
Create high-quality products by deadline that meet the client's vision and strategic goals
Translate market research into effective creative strategies with collaboration from other team members to meet set goals
Juggle multiple tasks; plan ahead; manage time effectively
Maintain accuracy and timeliness in all aspects of this work
Keep supervisor and/or team leader aware of any situation that may require proactive management
Properly maintain equipment and keep an orderly and organized operation; participate in and contribute to creation of better office systems

Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in web development

Proficient in HTML, CSS, Wordpress, and Wordpress Plugins
Understanding of Javascript, PHP, MySQL, and DNS configurations
Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology
Proven working experience in web development
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
