About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic development team at GBIT. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our existing web applications while contributing to the development of new modules and features. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse technology stack, including ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, Angular, and Azure cloud services. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing solutions that meet business requirements and support our company's growth objectives. Additionally, this position involves mentoring junior developers, participating in architecture discussions, and ensuring best practices are followed across all projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in software development, particularly with the Microsoft technology stack.
• Strong understanding of the .NET Framework and hands-on experience with ASP.NET Web Forms.
• Proficiency in C# programming, including object-oriented design principles.
• Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API.
• Solid knowledge of Angular for developing single-page applications.
• Expertise with Knockout.js and jQuery for creating dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Familiarity with DevExpress controls to enhance user experience.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing optimized queries and LINQ.
• Experience in building and managing scheduled tasks using .NET console applications, Azure Functions, or WebJobs.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, distributed systems with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the existing web application built on ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, Knockout.js, jQuery, and DevExpress to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Design and develop migrated modules utilizing ASP.NET Core and Angular, targeting deployment on Azure App Service.
• Create, test, and consume RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange and integration across systems.
• Rebuild scheduled .NET console jobs as Azure Functions or WebJobs to optimize operational efficiency and scalability.
• Lead code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions to ensure best practices are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and product quality.
