Web Developer

About This Role

The Web Developer is a hands-on professional with strong knowledge of both front-end and back-end development languages. They will translate business needs into client-friendly functions to expand the website's influence, update the DTLR e-commerce website, develop and maintain internal company applications, and implement usability testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the e-commerce website and emails
• Extend and optimize web functionality, user interface, and navigation
• Integrate the e-commerce website with 3rd party applications and interfaces
• Create solutions and implement internal software projects based on end-user and department requirements
• Work with the creative team to scope and develop projects based on Adobe designs to maintain the e-commerce website
• Work with the marketing team to promote discounts and events and assist them in creating analytics and events
• Independently scope work and complete objectives
• Stay up-to-date on technology

Requirements

• Knowledge of the Shopify Platform, Themes, Discounts, CLI, Plugins, Sales Channels
• HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Liquid, SCSS, jQuery
• Git or other version control
• Jira or other ticketing software
• Familiarity with Adobe products like Illustrator, Photoshop, or XD
• Experience using 3rd party REST APIs
• Knowledge of ADA compliance
• Experience implementing responsive designs across all devices
• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science) or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of web development experience
