Web Developer

About This Role

This part-time Web Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining responsive web applications and sites for Venofa Teq LTD's academy, consulting services, and digital products. The role suits a developer who can implement front-end interfaces, build back-end services, optimize performance, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and sites
• Implement front-end interfaces
• Build and integrate back-end services
• Optimize performance
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Collaborate with designers, trainers, product managers, and consultants to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews
• Maintain documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices

Requirements

• Strong Web Development and Programming skills, with experience building modern web applications
• Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Design, including responsive layouts and user-focused interfaces
• Experience in Back-End Web Development, working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team, managing time and tasks independently
• Knowledge of security best practices, performance optimization, and testing for web applications
• Relevant technical training or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working with startups, SMEs, or training/academy environments is an added advantage
