About This Role
This Web Developer role focuses on using strong expertise in Business Requirements Analysis and Web Application Development. The chosen candidate will be responsible for analyzing business needs, translating them into technical specifications, and developing responsive, secure, and scalable web applications using modern web technologies.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications
- Prepare and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies
- Integrate REST APIs and manage database operations to support application functionality
- Perform application testing, debugging, and defect resolution to ensure quality and reliability
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver solutions aligned with project requirements
- Follow coding standards and security practices while optimizing application performance
- Participate in Agile development activities, code reviews, and project discussions
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in web development and/or Business Requirements Analysis
- 15 years of full-time formal education
- Strong expertise in Business Requirements Analysis: Requirement gathering, analysis, validation, functional specifications, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories
- Strong expertise in Front-End Development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and responsive web design
- Strong expertise in Front-End Frameworks: React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong expertise in Back-End Development: PHP, Laravel, Node.js, or other relevant server-side technologies
- Strong expertise in Database Management: SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
- Strong expertise in API Integration: REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, and backend integration
- Strong expertise in Version Control and Tools: Git, GitHub/GitLab, Postman, and browser developer tools
- Strong expertise in Software Testing: Functional testing, integration testing, debugging, and defect management
- Additional Skills: Web security, performance optimization, accessibility fundamentals, Agile/Scrum, and Jira
- Strong understanding of web technologies and the ability to convert business requirements into effective technical solutions
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
