About This Role
This senior role involves leading the architecture, performance, scalability, and maintenance of over 100 WordPress websites. The developer will drive innovation through AI-assisted development and modern web technologies, working with a large WordPress ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of a large WordPress ecosystem
- Build advanced solutions using Elementor Pro, custom themes, plugins, APIs, hooks, and dynamic content
- Manage and standardize website infrastructure, updates, security practices, and performance across multiple web properties
- Own website performance initiatives, including Core Web Vitals, SEO best practices, caching strategies, and user experience optimization
- Manage code repositories, deployments, code reviews, and development standards using Git
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code) to accelerate development while ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability
- Develop and maintain integrations with Marketo, HubSpot, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), APIs, and other marketing technologies
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Design, and Content teams while providing technical leadership and mentoring developers
Requirements
- 8 years of professional web development experience
- 5 years building and maintaining WordPress websites using Elementor Pro
- Expert knowledge of:
- Elementor Pro
- Theme Builder
- Dynamic Content
- Global Templates & Widgets
- Custom Widget Development
- Experience managing large WordPress environments (25+ websites simultaneously preferred)
- Strong experience with:
