About the role

Web Designer The Drupal Web Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications and digital platforms built on the latest versions of Drupal (Drupal 9/10/11). This role ensures high‑quality, secure, scalable, and user‑centered digital experiences that support organizational goals. The developer collaborates closely with designers, content teams, product owners, and IT leadership to deliver modern, accessible, and high‑performing web solutions. Key Responsibilities Drupal Development & Architecture Develop, configure, and maintain websites using the latest versions of Drupal (9/10/11). Build custom modules, themes, and integrations following Drupal best practices. Implement and maintain content types, views, taxonomies, blocks, and menus. Ensure code quality through version control, peer reviews, and adherence to coding standards (Drupal Coding Standards, PSR‑4, Composer workflows). Site Maintenance & Enhancements Perform regular updates, security patches, and module upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve site issues, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility problems. Optimize websites for speed, accessibility (WCAG 2.1+), SEO, and mobile responsiveness. Maintain documentation for configurations, custom code, and deployment processes. Integration & API Development Build and maintain integrations with third‑party systems (REST, API, GraphQL, SSO, CRM, payment gateways, etc.). Work with cloud hosting environments (Acquia, Pantheon, AWS, Azure) to deploy and manage Drupal applications. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments. Collaboration & Project Support Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement modern, user‑friendly interfaces. Partner with content editors to improve workflows, permissions, and editorial experience. Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives). Provide technical guidance and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. · Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience – 10 Years · Troubleshooting production problems related to software applications – 6 Years · Experience with Composer, Drush, Git, and modern development workflows. – 6 Years · Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG), security best practices, and performance optimization. – 6 Years · Experience with cloud hosting platforms (Acquia, Pantheon, AWS, Azure). – 6 Years · Strong proficiency in PHP, Twig, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design. - Years · Knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB and database optimization. – 4 Years · Strong problem solving and analytical skills. – 4 Years · Excellent communication written and oral with collaboration abilities. -4 Years · Attention to detail and commitment to high quality work. – 4 Years · Drupal development experience (including Drupal 9/10/11). – 3 Years · Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Highly desired 4 Years · Acquia Drupal Developer or Site Builder certification. - Highly desired 4 Years · Experience with Docker or containerized development environments.- 4 Years
