As a Warehouse Supervisor [Retail Industry], you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage, support, plan, and oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management and control processes, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines.
- Maintain proper and accurate storage, labelling, and placement of all goods within the warehouse.
- Oversee order fulfilment activities, including picking, packing, and dispatch, to ensure timely delivery and minimal fulfilment errors.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a warehouse team of approximately 10 staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Collaborate closely with retail operations and cross-functional teams to resolve daily operational and logistical issues.
- Review and improve warehouse workflows and processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in retail logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations
- Experience with ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will be an added advantage.
