About This Role
Working and directing the distribution support function before, during, and after events is the core of this part-time Warehouse Supervisor position. This role is event-related, with no set schedule or hours.
Responsibilities
- Receive orders, store in proper place, and complete administrative paperwork in accordance with company standards, policies and procedures
- Compile warehouse schedule ensuring all events and deliveries have proper coverage
- Deliver product from warehouse to stand in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with company service standards
- Oversee the pulling of product to fill transfers and verify accuracy
- Perform minor repairs or adjustments on machines using hand tools to correct malfunctions as needed
- Work with warehouse manager to complete a monthly inventory
- Report any equipment repairs
- Assure security of all company assets
- Complete spot checks on inventory
- Inform manager of all products that are running low and need to be re-ordered
- Receive, maintain and store product inventory in a sanitary and orderly fashion (rotate product inventory FIFO standards)
- Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment
- Interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company standards
- Ensure proper and timely set up and clean-up of all concession areas
- Supervise warehouse staff
Requirements
- High School Degree and/or GED
- 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull
- Ability to perform arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10
- 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds, up and down stairs up to 400 feet about 15 times per shift
- Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage servers
Nice to have:
- Pallet jack and forklift experience
