Warehouse Supervisor

About This Role

Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor oversees and coordinates daily warehouse activities, including receiving and storing goods, managing inventory, ensuring efficient delivery, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse. This role involves monitoring staffing levels to ensure adequate resources and delegating tasks to team members.

Responsibilities

• Daily postings of (Receipts, Agency transfers, Debit notes, sales offices, Blocking)
• Oversee the daily loading and unloading of trucks and trailers in accordance with CBL warehousing process
• Directly supervise warehouse staff including weekly rostering (Checkers, associates, Gardeners)
• Maintain non-structural assets (Truck washing, warehouse cleaning, yard & office maintenance etc.)
• Conform to and enforce Warehouse best practices HACCP
• Comply with World Class Sales by completing the self-check process as well as quarterly staff reviews
• Protect the integrity of all personnel & products in the warehouse
• Adhere to all company policies and safety requirements for the role as prescribed by the business
• Perform any other responsibilities as required by the business

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in warehousing and distribution supervision
• Certificates, Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of SAP

Important Details

• Schedule: Predominantly 6 AM – 2 PM and 10 PM – 6 AM shifts; may be required to work outside the set work hours
• Working condition: Will be exposed to a Distribution Center & Warehouse environment at an occasional frequency
• Physical requirements: Frequent to moderate walking short/long distances within the Distribution Center, Office and Warehouse areas; occasional exposure to forklifts & delivery trucks within the Warehouse area; wearing of appropriate PPE gear required for normal daily function
