Warehouse Operations - Warehouse Associate

About This Role

Working in a warehouse and distribution center, the Warehouse Associate is a key contributor to daily operations, responsible for manual order fulfillment, product handling, and supporting overall inventory accuracy. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of orders through hands-on work, quality checks, and adherence to all safety and operational standards within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, sort, and prepare products for customer orders, including case picking, kitting, lumping, and assembly
• Assist with e-commerce and value-added service (VAS) order processing, following specific work instructions
• Load and unload products as needed to support daily operations
• Perform visual quality checks to verify correct products, proper quantities, and compliance with customer packaging and shipping requirements
• Identify and report product defects, damages, or missing inventory to management
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and participate in safety and compliance training
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
• Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to meet daily productivity and service goals
• Take coaching and feedback constructively, communicating respectfully with others at all times
• Promote a positive and collaborative team environment
• Perform other related job duties as assigned or required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• At least six (6) months of general work experience
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver electric pallet jacks and hand-operated pallet jacks
• Basic math and reading skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours, depending on shift)
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolds at various heights including ground-level and racking zones frequently
• Ability to reach with hands and arms overhead and below waist level
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to occasionally lift heavier items with or without assistance
• Ability to use fine motor skills/manual dexterity to operate equipment, tools, or keyboards
• Ability to frequently use hands and fingers to handle, grasp, or control objects
• Ability to see clearly at close range and at distance, with peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
