As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations by ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled with precision and speed. You will utilize industrial equipment to manage inventory flow, directly impacting our ability to meet delivery commitments and maintain high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Execute order fulfillment tasks by accurately selecting and staging products for outbound shipment.
- Operate heavy machinery, including standup forklifts and pallet jacks, to transport goods throughout the facility.
- Perform rigorous quality verification to ensure every shipment matches the customer's order specifications.
- Optimize warehouse throughput by maintaining a clean, hazard-free, and highly organized workspace.
- Support inventory integrity by identifying stock discrepancies and reporting low-level items in real-time.
- Partner with the broader warehouse team to achieve daily output targets and operational deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices to foster a secure work environment for all personnel.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
- Strong physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Basic mathematical proficiency for accurate counting and inventory reconciliation.
- Demonstrated attention to detail to minimize picking errors.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience operating a standup forklift or similar material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or digital inventory tracking tools.
- Previous background in shipping, receiving, or general logistics operations.
