Warehouse Manager, Distribution Warehouse

About This Role

This role supports all distribution center and manufacturing activities, ensuring shifts run efficiently, safely, and productively. The manager is responsible for planning, executing, and completing daily work according to facility standards, demonstrating effective leadership, and ensuring exemplary performance from their team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize workflow for the shift to meet all customer Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Promote the highest level of expectations for achieving established standards in safety, quality, and productivity
• Contribute to the interviewing, selection, onboarding, training, motivating, and performance management of shift team members
• Drive process improvement through Lean concepts and problem-solving techniques
• Ensure team members are sufficiently trained to perform their jobs and are cross-trained to support other areas as necessary
• Provide leadership and oversight to the shift team to ensure the highest level of employee performance and morale while driving continuous improvement and managing change
• Promote an environment of learning and continuous growth by implementing and assessing systems and processes to make the workflow more effective
• Coordinate with other departments as required to ensure the entire workstream is achieved
• Review and maintain associate's timesheets
• Evaluate and edit incentive/pay communications
• Monitor attendance and develop staffing schedules
• Produce shift reports as required
• Assess shift workflows for stretch capacity requirements through coordinating staffing to meet increased and/or decreased workloads to maximize efficiencies and reduce cost during volatile demand swings across any/all shifts
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to assure shift performance and deliverables are achieved
