About This Role
Leading warehouse operations, developing the team, and driving performance, safety, and continuous improvement are the core responsibilities of this role. The Warehouse Manager will play a key part in consistently delivering strong results for customers while fostering an engaged and high-performing operational team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring performance targets are met and corrective actions are implemented when required
- Lead, coach, and develop team members through ongoing training and performance management, and foster a positive team culture
- Assign tasks and monitor work completion to ensure accuracy, productivity, and operational efficiency
- Manage employee relations issues and support disciplinary and corrective actions where necessary
- Plan, organize, and adjust staffing and scheduling to meet operational demands
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean methodologies, quality management processes, and cost control initiatives
- Ensure achievement of customer metrics, including quality and responsiveness
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards
- Maintain accurate operational reports and ensure adherence to process documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage daily warehouse operations and ensure smooth inbound/outbound processes
- Ensure accuracy in the picking and packing of equipment
- Oversee inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and prevent losses or expired goods
- Train and supervise warehouse staff and ensure safety compliance
- Coordinate logistics, transportation, and vendor interactions
- Monitor KPIs, cost control, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within a logistics environment, including leading a team
- Experience working with Warehouse Management and other common Software Systems
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proactive mindset and strong ability to collaborate across teams
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- Leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and data analytics
- Understanding of logistics, safety standards, and inventory control
