Role Overview: Responsible for efficiently and safely moving packages, documents, hazardous goods, and supplies using effective scan/load techniques. This non-driving position involves handling various package weights, maneuvering items in enclosed spaces, stacking overhead, and working in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport packages and supplies promptly and safely.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, squatting, and maneuvering packages of varying weights.
- Work efficiently in different environments, including enclosed spaces and outdoor conditions.
- Complete required training and maintain effective communication in noisy environments.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or help.
- Physical stamina to walk, stand, bend, and climb stairs or ladders.
- Effective communication skills for timely and clear interactions.
- Capable of working in all weather conditions and in a safety-conscious manner.
- Successful completion of training programs.
Additional Information: This part-time role offers flexible hours, with pay starting at $17.20/hr plus shift premiums. It is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
