About This Role
This role supports Cencora's distribution services in the US through its Amerisource Bergen business. It involves monitoring temperature-sensitive materials, updating records, coordinating material movement, and preparing shipments. The position suits an individual with experience in warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and safety.
Responsibilities
- Monitor temperature-sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation to help preserve required conditions
- Update warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation to maintain traceability and control
- Identify on-hold, damaged, or non-conforming materials and route them through defined handling procedures
- Coordinate material movement using approved warehouse equipment to support safe and efficient flow
- Prepare packaging materials and shipment areas to support timely outbound activity
- Escalate non-standard handling or inventory issues to support timely follow-up
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field
- Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping
- Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements
- Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials
- Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations
- Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements
- Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools
- Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions
- Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs
- Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action
- Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities
- Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy
- Ability to work with temperature-sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements

- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification
