About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Mount and dismount passenger, light truck, commercial, and specialty tires using industry-approved equipment and procedures
- Inspect tires and wheels for damage, wear, and defects prior to service
- Balance tire and wheel assemblies as required
- Prepare, organize, and stage tires and wheels for customer orders and deliveries
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks using proper material handling techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory by organizing products within the warehouse
- Operate tire service equipment and other warehouse tools safely
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with other warehouse and shop duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous tire service or warehouse experience preferred
- Experience mounting and dismounting commercial or passenger tires is a plus
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Forklift certification or experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift and move tires and wheels, with or without assistance
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
- Ability to work in varying temperatures in a warehouse or shop environment
- Ability to safely operate tire service equipment and material handling equipment
