Warehouse Associate

About This Role

Working under the direction of the Operations Supervisor or department Lead Hand, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling inbound and outbound freight safely and accurately. This role requires the use of a variety of powered Material Handling Equipment and an RF Gun.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality and accuracy while receiving inbound stock items, and noting any deficiencies
• Accurately pick orders
• Complete required documentation neatly and accurately
• Perform manual labor (lifting up to 50lbs)
• Safely and skillfully operate material handling equipment including a sit-down counter balance forklift, a stand-up deep reach truck, and walkie-riders
• Perform maintenance checks of material handling equipment
• Perform housekeeping and other general warehouse duties

Requirements

• High School (Grade 12) Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Previous experience within a warehouse environment
• Previous experience with a forklift or reach truck an asset
• TDG and WHMIS training
• Previous experience with RF technology
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Must currently be living in Winnipeg

• Working Days: Monday - Friday
• Shift Timing: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
