About This Role
This warehouse associate role involves a variety of material handling duties, including pulling and assembling customer orders, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean facility. The position suits an organized and safety-conscious individual with forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Pull and assemble customer orders
- Check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct inventory stock checks
- Restock and label vendor products
- Maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.)
- Move, store, and replenish material
- Conduct daily cycle counts
- Receive and unload inbound material
- Process inbound shipments
- Stock material
- Process customer returns
- Notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims
- Operate crane forklift equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping, removing trash, and performing general office maintenance
- Wait on customers and prepare sales slips (may be required)
- Maintain a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules and reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Certified Forklift Operator
- Crane Forklift experience
- 1+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Organization skills
- Customer service skills
- Fluency in English
- Detail-oriented
- Safety-conscious
Important Details
- Physical requirements: Regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms; required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; may sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear
- Lifting requirements: Regularly lift 15-30 lbs; safely lift up to 70 lbs at certain times; team lift required for tile boxes or other materials over 36 inches or more than 70 lbs
- Vision abilities: Close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
