About the role
Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Warehouse Assistant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute inbound and outbound logistics tasks, including receiving, checking, loading, and unloading cargo.
- Utilize automated systems for stock management, including pick-to-light systems for accurate order fulfillment.
- Perform inventory merging and counting to optimize storage efficiency.
- Maintain and control material handling equipment, ensuring operational effectiveness.
- Uphold a clean and safe working environment by adhering to housekeeping standards and safety regulations.
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks, subject to possession of a valid forklift license.
- Collaborate with other teams and assist as necessary.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
- Basic educational qualifications, at least Primary/Secondary level.
- A positive working attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Availability to perform overtime as needed.
