Designation: Substation Technician
Location: Siruseri, Chennai
Industry: Data Centre / Critical Facility Operations
Employment: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain HT/LT electrical systems, substations, switchgear and transformers.
- Monitor electrical parameters and ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical systems.
- Perform Preventive & Corrective Maintenance (PPM/CM) and electrical troubleshooting.
- Handle HT/LT panels, DG, UPS and associated electrical equipment.
- Follow PTW, LOTO, electrical safety and statutory compliance procedures.
- Attend breakdowns, identify faults and coordinate with vendors/technical teams.
- Maintain daily logbooks, checklists and equipment maintenance records.
Candidate Profile
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Relevant experience in Substation / HT-LT Operations & Maintenance.
- Experience in Data Centre, Commercial Building, Industrial Plant or Critical Facility will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of electrical safety procedures and troubleshooting.
- Willing to work in shift operations.
